 The idea for "Facing Mortality"came to life when Stonelyonsproductions.com and Holger Blech from HBmedia.us put their heads together, covered with N95 face masks of course, and came up with this short movie around sunset, playing at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.  The song "Nothing is Sacred" is by Becca Stone 

"Nipe Tumaini"  is a Swahili term that means "Give me hope" It is also the chosen name for a children's home in Kenya It was brought to life by a man with a vision. The vision is to help children without parents to have a future and to thrive in their lives. This interview with its founder Benson Mungai was taken in January of 2020 during our visit to Kenya on our way to the Masai Mara

Music is  the art of arranging sounds in time through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. Jan demonstrates a delicate command of the guitar in front of an audience. “You might think having people watch you isn’t going to help, but it might actually make you perform better,” says lead author Vikram Chib, an assistant professor of biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University and the Kennedy Krieger Institute. “An audience can serve as an extra bit of incentive.”
